Audience Response

"Collapsing national political concerns with the absurd and the quotidian, Cooperative Village darkly satirizes the appalling state of America's government while remaining light-hearted and optimistic. Frances is so dang funny and her story-telling is brilliant." Allen Strouse

"I was mesmerized (but in the best of ways) by this one-talented-woman production. She has unusual and almost endless insight and it is a pleasure to experience it. It deserves a very large audience." Mickey Pearlman, Ph.D.

"An exhilarating ride, filled with plenty of laughs, Madeson's intimate performance packed a cumulative punch as her absorbing tale of death, love, community and patriotism came together with stunning force at the unforgettable—and stirring—finale." Kathleen Paton
